BCCI has finally announced team India's 15-man squad for the T20 world cup to be held this year. Rohit Sharma will be captaining the team alongside Hardik pandya as the vice-captain.

The Indian top order looks well settled with the likes of captain Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. Rishab Pant is all set to make a comeback in international cricket after a wait of 16 months. Sanju Samson finds place in the squad ahead of KL Rahul, who misses out . Indian allrounders include Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dubey, who comes on the back of a touchwood IPL performance.
The spin department looks well settled with the names of Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. Fans look forward to the much awaited comeback of 'kulcha' (Kuldeed and Chahal) on the field since the 2019 World Cup. Jasprit Bumrah will be leading the pace attack followed by the likes of Mohommed Siraj and Arshdeep Singh.
The reserve player list includes back-up seamers Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan, Shubman Gill as the substitute opener. The shock lies in the exclusion of Rinku Singh in the squad, however, he has been named in the reserve player list.
